The committee is composed by Prof. Ing. Paolo Franchin, Prof. Arch. Cristina Mazzantini, Prof. Arch. Massimo Zammerini and a number of SESAM organizers. They met together on february the 19th, at Valle Giulia School of Architecture
In order to participate to the SESAM, each candidate must take part in a contest of ideas: concerning the use of garbage.
SESAM asks you to design one of the following objects: a chair, a table, a box, a bed, or sign supports. We invite you to discover the possibility to reuse these objects and materials. One of the most important features of these designs shall be its ease of construction. The commission will reward the most communicative projects.
Send your submission starting from November the 15th . The deadline for the competition is February 1st.
The commission will evaluate the best designed and most creative products in order to build and use them during SESAM 2009 by the whole assembly. The evaluation criteria shall assure the participation for a minimum of two students per country, in the aggregate 100 european participants plus 20 italians.
